I’m a born-and-raised backcountry rider, driven by a deep love for the outdoors — where freedom, fear, and the ‘holy shit, I actually did it’ moments collide. There’s nothing like the euphoric reward of earning your way into the mountains, surrounded by raw, humbling beauty, and I want others to experience that feeling too. What I offer is a place of acceptance — a space where the loud, the wild, and the unapologetic are not too much, but exactly enough. As a mechanic, photographer, and athlete, I bleed for this industry and for creating space for women in motorsports — honoring those who paved the way before us and pushing forward for those still to come, because women can.

Vanessa Ruck.
Also known as The Girl On A Bike — an adventure motorcyclist, rally racer, speaker, and content creator. After a life-changing accident in 2014, I rebuilt my body, mindset, and career, going on to race extreme endurance events and international desert rallies. I use motorsports as a tool for resilience, confidence, and personal growth, sharing the realities behind the highlights. Alongside racing and riding, I speak globally to schools, corporates, and events about adversity, mindset, and redefining limits. Through my work, I aim to encourage more women to take up space, trust themselves, and chase bold, unconventional paths.

I come from a place far from deserts and dirt tracks (Denmark), but I’m working toward racing the Baja 1000 – one of the toughest off-road races in the world. Motorsport has taught me resilience, humility, and how to stay calm when everything turns chaotic. I’m tired of perfect “role models”; I want to be visible in the process – the fear, the training, the failures, and the small wins. This sport shouldn’t be gatekept or feel intimidating; anyone can start, and anyone can get better. If my presence makes it feel a little more possible for another woman to start, then that matters. I’m not here to say “girls can do it too.” I’m here to show it… and to have fun, build a family in the moto community, and eat an unreasonable amount of snacks!

Naomi Findlay
Is an Australian desert racer, dirtbike coach, and school teacher passionate about helping women and girls access motorcycling in a supportive and achievable way. She offers beginner and intermediate coaching for juniors and women, with a strong focus on learning to ride safely, building confidence, and progressing at each rider’s own pace. Naomi also provides a hire bike (TTR125) to reduce barriers for those wanting to try riding or attend coaching without owning a bike. Through Instagram and YouTube, she actively promotes women in motorsport, sharing educational content, racing insights, and practical riding tips. Her desert racing videos and bike set-up guides aim to make events like the Finke Desert Race feel more accessible and less intimidating for new and aspiring riders. At the heart of everything she does is community, connection, and empowering women to give it a go.
